Former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne has announced the expansion of his current tour, including stops in Raleigh and Charlotte.

Byrne is touring in support of the Brian Eno-produced Everything That Happens Will Happen Today, which was released independently Aug. 18, 2008. Everything That Happens is the first Eno-Byrne collaboration in 30 years; with the last being 1981’s My Life in the Bush of Ghosts.

Eno previously shared songwriting and producing credits with the Talking Heads on 1978’s More Songs About Buildings and Food, ’79’s Fear of Music and ’80’s Remain in Light.

The Songs of David Byrne and Brian Eno Tour will stop in Raleigh at the Meymandi Concert Hall on Dec. 8 and Charlotte at Ovens Auditorium on Dec. 10. Tickets for the performance at Meymandi are available at the box office and through Ticketmaster.
